How Plinko works

Pick a stake, a row count (more rows = more pin bounces = wider distribution) and a risk profile. Low risk caps the highest payout but pays out something on most drops; high risk pays huge multipliers on the edges (up to 1,000×) at the cost of frequent zero-payout drops in the centre. Hit drop, watch the ball bounce, collect the slot multiplier.

Auto mode runs drops back-to-back with the same settings. Manual and auto are identical math. Use auto when you want volume to converge on 99% RTP without click fatigue.

Picking row count and risk profile

16 rows + high risk gives the most extreme variance, long dry stretches punctuated by 100×+ hits. 8 rows + low risk feels closer to a slot's hit frequency. Auto-mode is essential for the volume needed to converge on the 99% RTP. Like all chance-based originals, no in-game decision changes the EV, the config is the bet.

There is no in-drop decision. The bet is the config. Pick one profile for the whole session instead of switching after a zero slot. Switching configs mid-session is just paying variance tax with extra steps.

The trajectory is a deterministic function of the seed pair and nonce, every left/right pin decision is read off bits of the HMAC digest. Recompute the digest, walk the published path, land in the same slot the casino paid.
